Our sun decks are built into striking volcanic rock just metres above the deep blue Ionian Sea – a unique setting where our Beach Service team offer warm, attentive service straight to guests’ sunbeds. Whether delivering drinks, handing out towels after a dip, or hosting lively poolside afternoons, the team helps create the effortless, holiday atmosphere Peligoni is known for.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Beach Service Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our sun decks and pool area for the 2026 season. You’ll ensure our beach service team delivers efficient, professional, and friendly hospitality — from morning smoothies to sunset cocktails — maintaining the relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere our guests love.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys managing a small team, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. You’ll oversee service standards, guest flow, stock management, and training, while working closely with the wider F&B and Events teams to keep beach and pool operations running seamlessly throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of service on the sun decks and around the pool.
  • Ensure guests receive a warm welcome, prompt attention, and consistently high levels of service.
  • Brief, allocate, and motivate the team each day to ensure efficient, organised service.
  • Manage deck space, seat guests appropriately, and maintain the area’s appearance.
  • Oversee food and drink order processing and coordinate the team to minimise wait times.
  • Ensure the ice cream shack and pool bar are well stocked, well presented, and impeccably clean.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and minimise wastage.
  • Support Events team by preparing deck spaces for special events.
  • Liaise with Events Chefs on pop-up kitchen menus, allergens, and service flow.
  • Work closely with the Bar Manager to maintain drink quality and consistency.
  • Address guest queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Train, develop, and support the team throughout the season.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Create rotas with awareness of labour costs and peak periods.
  • Promote teamwork, positivity, and a supportive working culture.
  • Motivate the team to upsell and maximise revenue opportunities.

Essential Requirements

  • Supervisory or managerial experience in beach/poolside service or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and guest-first attitude.
  • Ability to manage pressure and resolve guest issues effectively.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and flexible.
  • Understanding of EPOS operating systems.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required).
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (desirable).
