We want to ensure that our club looks great and works to its best at all times, no matter what the weather does or what challenges come our way. This means we need talented people to keep everything in top notch condition on a daily basis.
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our maintenance team this summer. Whether it is repairing a sail, rebuilding a sun deck or putting a fresh coat of paint on the bar floor, our maintenance staff are the behind-the-scenes team who keep the club running and looking its best.
This is the ideal position for someone who enjoys using their carpentry skills and well as carrying out general maintenance. If you are self-motivated, resourceful and able to manage your own time effectively, we would love to hear from you.
We build a lot of things with wood including our sun decks, beach shacks and pergolas. There is a lot of work that goes into these areas before the season begins, as well as ongoing maintenance throughout the summer months to keep them looking great and functioning perfectly.
From time to time, additional duties may arise, such as guest or staff driving, setting up for weekly events, and helping out in other areas of the club. This role requires a great deal of flexibility, and we’re looking for someone who is happy to jump in and help with any situation.
In your spare time, as well as being able to explore the island and experience the local food and culture, you will have access to the club’s watersports facilities, allowing you to hone your existing skills or learn new ones in sailing and windsurfing.
