We’re looking for an energetic and highly motivated Beach Supervisor to support the Beach Manager with the day-to-day running of our watersports operation. You’ll help lead a team of instructors, ensure high standards of safety and instruction, and deliver fun, engaging sessions for guests of all ages and abilities.

This is a hands-on, varied, and fast-paced role suited to experienced watersports professionals who enjoy coaching, thrive in a team environment, and are confident supervising both staff and guests on a busy waterfront. You’ll help maintain equipment, evaluate lessons, lead activities, and build the friendly, welcoming atmosphere Peligoni is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Beach Manager with daily beach operations and guest flow.
  • Maintain high standards of service, instruction, and guest care at all times.
  • Assist with training and motivating the beach team.
  • Evaluate the quality of instruction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the implementation of beach health and safety procedures.
  • Audit and manage safety risks, ensuring immediate corrective action when needed.
  • Oversee daily maintenance and care of watersports equipment.
  • Deliver windsurfing, foiling and/or dinghy instruction as qualified.
  • Ensure group sessions run smoothly and effectively.
  • Greet guests warmly and encourage them to participate in watersports.
  • Support the childcare team during water-based activities.
  • Implement and participate in “bad weather” programmes.
  • Participate, and encourage others, in weekly beach team skits and evening events.
  • Build friendly, confident relationships with guests.
  • Take on additional duties when required to support the smooth running of the club.

Essential Requirements

  • RYA Senior Dinghy, Windsurf or Dual-Qualified Instructor.
  • RYA Wingfoiling Instructor (desirable).
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2 and RYA Safety Boat.
  • RYA Multihull, Advanced Dinghy or Racing endorsements (desirable).
  • RYA Powerboat Instructor (desirable).
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience coaching in a watersports centre, including with children.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Practical experience with kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (desirable).
  • Available for the full season (May–October).
  • UK/EU passport holder.
