Set in a beautiful, relaxed environment, the boutique is an integral part of the guest experience – providing those finishing touches to a perfect holiday wardrobe.
From busy arrival weekends to pop-ups during evening events, the boutique is a lively, sociable space where great style meets warm, personal service.
We’re looking for a confident, stylish and highly organised Retail Assistant to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the boutique for the season. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role ideal for someone with a genuine passion for fashion, an eye for detail and a natural ability to connect with people.
You’ll open and run the boutique each day, ensure it always looks immaculate, actively promote the collection to guests and help maximise sales – whether that’s during a busy Saturday arrival, a champagne reception ahead of a party night, or a pop-up during one of our evening events.
You’ll also manage stock, handle payments accurately and liaise regularly with By Rory Head Office, representing both brands with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the By Rory Boutique.
- Open and close the boutique daily, ensuring it is always beautifully presented.
- Welcome guests warmly and create a relaxed, enjoyable shopping experience.
- Actively promote clothing and accessories, offering styling advice and product knowledge.
- Host special boutique moments such as champagne receptions, pop-ups and event evenings.
- Work with By Rory Head Office to deliver agreed promotions and events.
- Process payments accurately.
- Manage stock levels, deliveries and displays, ensuring strong visual merchandising.
- Complete regular stock and sales reporting for By Rory Head Office.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and presentation standards at all times.
- Build friendly, genuine relationships with guests throughout their stay.
- Talk confidently about the club, its events and facilities.
- Support other departments when required and assist with wider club operations.

Essential Requirements
- Proven retail experience in a high-end clothing or lifestyle store.
- Strong numerical, administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience handling card payments and till reconciliation.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Available for the full season (May – September/October).
- EU passport holder.
