With our accommodation located in the hills of North Zakynthos, as opposed to being crowded at the fringes of the clubhouse, those who rent one of our Storck road bikes for a week, can maximise their cycling experience depending on where they stay. Selected by Peligoni’s Managing Director, Ben, who knows these roads like no tomorrow, all of these villas give you a head start up the mountain. They are surrounded by quiet roads with good access to different routes, putting you in prime position to enjoy all that North Zakynthos has to offer.
MAISTRALI | BEST FOR A GROUP OF CYCLISTS
A fantastic split-level villa tucked into the hills, Maistrali’s equally sized bedrooms are ideal for a group who all want to enjoy a cycling holiday in Greece. It also has it’s very own windtower that’s designed to keep the villa cool in the heat of summer, a perfect relaxing retreat after a hard day’s ride.
Ben’s Tip: Set off at sunrise, head down the hill whilst the weather is cool and the roads are empty. After a morning’s exploration, refuel with a hearty lunch at The Club before lying in the sun or dipping in the ocean.
SLEEPS 8 | FROM £2,250 FOR 1 WEEK
With it’s modern take on the traditional Greek style, and 5 en suite bedrooms, Fincha is perfect for a group where some want to cycle, and others want to simply do nothing. The additional pool, and outdoor dining area make Fincha the perfect place for group gatherings.
Ben’s Tip: Coming from The Club, have a hardcore finish to your day by cycling back to Fincha to join the rest of the group for a villa hosted evening.
SLEEPS 10 | FROM £3,500 FOR 1 WEEK
